Research Project:
Comparison of different methods for endometrial preparation in women with a planned transfer of previously cryopreserved embryos
As part of a scientific research project, we are investigating various procedures for preparing the uterine lining for the transfer of a previously frozen embryo (cryopreserved embryo transfer).
In doing so, we are comparing three established treatment methods: the natural cycle (NC), the modified natural cycle (mNC), and the hormonally substituted cycle (HRT).
What is the goal of the study?
The goal of our study is to investigate possible differences between the three procedures with regard to pregnancy and live birth rates, as well as possible pregnancy complications. The findings gained are intended to help, in the long term, tailor reproductive medicine
treatments even more individually to our patients’ needs.
How is the study conducted?
For this study, existing treatment data from 1998 to 2025 will be scientifically analyzed retrospectively. No additional examinations or treatments are required as part of the study.
Data protection and further information
